Airtel plans to launch 4G Smartphone, will cost only Rs.1000

Airtel is now planning reverse to confront Jio. Reports convey, that the Indian Telecom Operator is planning to launch 4G Smartphone only at Rs.1000. Of course this is an overwhealming news for the Airtel users who still use 2G and 3G SIMs.

Post Airtel launches this Smartphone, the company assumes that there will be a considerable growth in the number of 4G customers. What’s interesting is that Airtel also plans to bring some lucrative offers with this Smartphone.

In the current market scenario, while the 4G VoLTE Smartphone starting price ranges somewhere between Rs. 2000 to Rs. 5000, Airtel might be the eye-candy by offering free subscription and lucrative offers with its upcoming 4G Smartphone. Also it can prove to be a turing point for the leading Telecom carrier.

Here we would like to inform you that Airtel had launched the 4G VoLTE the previous year and 30 percent of its exsiting customers are now enjoying the service. However, the Telecom giant has not given any recent update on this. We shall let you know as soon any update arrives.

Before this Airtel in collaboration with karbonn Mobiles has sold many Smartphones on discounted price. Even the company in collaboration with
Celkon had sold 4G Smartphones at a discounted price of Rs. 1349 while the phone actually cost Rs. 3500. 

So this step of Airtel might prove to be a game changer and bring some major changes in the telecom sector.
