The German luxurious Automaker Audi just recently launched the 4-seater convertible fuel-efficient car A3 Cabriolet Facelift in the Indian Market at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 47.98 lakh. The new car from Audi comes packed with a group of cosmetics and a more-fuel efficient engine.
To cast little light on the fact, the car packs a considerably smaller engine which is powerful enough to churn out 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine too mates Audi’s most powerful seven-speed S tronic transmission and is equipped with the COD (Cylinder On Demand) tech which enables the temporary cylinder shut-off during partial load on the car. Best part of the engine is that the car achieves an impressive mileage of 19.2 km/l.

The Facelifted A3 Cabriolet comes with a very diverse look and feel as it packs a brand new aggressive set of headlamps housed with Audi’s popular daytime LED running lights. The redesigned hexagonal grille which is placed between the car headlights, highlights the new design language and sharper look of the car. The front bumper also is restructured to fascinate the whole makeover of the car. At back, also the car gets redesigned bumper and taillights.
Now moving to the inside of the A3 Cabriolet Facelift, you will find a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a lender and flat instrument panel. Centre Console of the car which too houses a retractable 7-inch infotainment screen seems to have turned towards the driver. You too will get an absolute revamp on the four AC Vents and the the car seats are fully clad in Milano Leather upholstery.

What else you get in terms of gadgets inside the car are the Audi phone box, a 7-inch infotainment screen, dual zone air conditioning, both front and back parking sensors with a rear-view camera, dual zone air conditioning, five airbags and ABS with EBD. If you are really interested to add something more to the car then at a little more price investment, you can add a smartphone interface and a Bang and Olufsen sound system. But what extra you get in the car in the said price range is an electronically operated fabric roof which is prompt enough to raise or drop at a speed of 50kmph.
If marked from a competitor prospect, then perhaps this will be the leader in the said price range as you will not get any car with the said all features less than 60 lakhs. But undoubtedly the Audi Mini Cooper Convertible which is a less priced convertible can be a direct competitor to the car.
