Happy news for the PAN card appliers. Now everyone can get PAN card in hand in just four hours post applying. While some major changes were expected in the PAN card format starting from December 5, now this news has brought enough happiness for the applicants. For this, the applicants need to submit only their Aadhar card as a sources of documentation. This new regulation is supposed to be implimented from the following year.
According to CBDT Chairman Sushil Chandra, the Income Tax Department now will provide PAN card to applicants in just four hours of application submission. The Dept. even has initited the necessary arrangements for that. As per the new rule, the Single parents would no more be needed to mention their father’s name in the application form and this rule has come into force starting from Novemeber 5. Here we would like to infrom you that CBDT had started the E-PAN application process from April 2017 through which the applicants can get their E-PAN in PDF format which they can download and use in case of requirement.
