Reliance Jio post entering into the telecom industry has created huge buzz across the globe for its exclusive offers and reasonable price. But these days the company is in huge hullabaloo for another reason. Guess what! The company is going to hire around 75 – 80 thousand people in this financial year 2018-19.
Head HR of Reliance Jio, Mr. Sanjay Jog revealed this in the occasion of an event. Answering to a question of the press, he said “There are about 1,57,000 people on the rolls today. But that’s not important. What’s important is the number of people associated with Jio. We have one million retailers who are on-board, each one impacting two to three employees. Couple of newer businesses are opening up for us. Jio Payments bank will also be geographically distributed. 70,000 or 80,000 new people will be hired,” said Sanjay Jog, chief human resources officer of Reliance Jio,
Answering a question about the attrition rate he said, On attrition rate in the company, he said “It was about 32 per cent in the sales and technical areas related to constructions sites. If it is taken at the headquarter level, it is just 2 per cent. Average if you go it will come down to 18 per cent.”
Mr. Jog said that the company is in partnership with 6000 colleges including technical institution from where they will hire through placement. Besides, they will also take help of Social Media to recruit people. Also he informed that the institution they are tied with teach some embedded courses which makes the students “Reliance Ready.

We must mention here that from last few days Reliance has started recruitment for its BPO sector for which the minimum educational qualification is HSC degree. This is full time job with Rs. 20,000 salary per month. Apart from the said educational qualification, you need to be good in English for this job. The company appoints for the senior positions owing to prior experience.
