If you are a Car lover and love performance centered cars, then of course you will be quite happy to know that India’s largest Car manufacturer Maruti is gonna manufacture more and more RS model cars in the coming days. Whilst Maruti has already entered the segment by introducing the Baleno RS which is the first entry level performance car in the market, the company now thinks of adding this badge to many other special edition variant.

Of course this is not new for the company as before the RS tag has been added to the other cosmetically enhanced variants of Maruti i.e. Swift and Ciaz. So you can expect many more driver centered cars from Maruti in the coming days which not only include the RS badge, but will bring you an enriched driving experience.

However, nothing has been told yet by official sources that which will be the Maruti models that will get RS badge. But what’s assumed Ciaz might be the next car in the lineup. The Ciaz soon is entering into the Nexa segment and hence is expected to open to more customer craving.

Flashing light on the motto behind introducing the RS segment Maruti Suzuki models, Executive Director of Marketing & Sales of the company told Cardekho “We are working in that direction (having more cars in the RS series), and as of now we have not zeroed down on the models, and the Baleno RS is our entry in the RS line-up. We’re making a beginning by introducing the RS line for the first time and depending upon the market response; we’ll take a call in the future.”

The Ciaz ZXi+ manual is purportedly going to be the next car to board a 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine and is available at a too reasonable cost. While it will be the next RS badge car for India, so we shall wait further to see if the dream of Maruti to grab the eyeballs via the RS badge cars stay successful.
