With the Telecom battle gaining momentum in the country, the leading Telecom Operators such as Reliance Jio, Airtel, Idea and Vodafone are found introducing lucrative offers for their users. Every other day one telecom giant introduces a new offer to forefront the other and ultimately the users get benefited. While a drastic change has taken place in the Indian Telecom Industry post Jio entered into the market, many more changes are yet to happen, we suppose.
Today we talk of Idea, the other leading Telecom operator in the country which earlier this month launched the 4G VoLTE services in six telecom regions such as Maharashtra & Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. Also the company offers 10GB free data to Idea users who make their first VoLTE call. Now the company has come up with two new add-on packs i.e. Rs.92 and Rs.52 and with this the company directly competes Airtel and Reliance Jio.
Before Reliance Jio had introduced one Rs.51 pack for its pre-paid users which provide a total 3GB of add-on 4G data and its Rs.101 pack provide 6GB of 4G data with now validity bounds. Challenging this pack, Airtel lately lunched one Rs.49 prepaid pack which offers 3GB of 4G/3G data for one day. Similarly, its Rs.92 pack offers 6GB 3G/4G data which is valid for seven days. Now Idea has come up with the Rs.53 pack which offers 3GB of 3G/2G internet data for one day and Rs.92 pack which offers 6GB of 2G/3G data for seven days.

If analysed, then with its newly introduced prepaid add-on packs, Idea will directly compete Airtel because both have an almost equal tariff rate with equal validity period. But Jio is bit different from these two as it has no certain validity period. Apart, Jio also has introduced a Rs.49 tariff plan using which the Jio users can get unlimited voice calls, 50 SMS messages, complimentary subscription to Jio apps, and 1GB 4G data. However, this offer is only meant for the Jio phone users.
